Our client, a progressive 900 bed and Level I Trauma Hospital located in Louisiana is looking for a highly skilled pharmacist to serve as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Critical Care. As a Critical Care Clinical Pharmacy Specialist, you will work with other healthcare providers to optimize medication regimens using evidence-based medicine and standards of care. The Critical Care Pharmacy Specialist will be a part of a consistent team of ICU pharmacists that provide coverage to our critically-ill patients. The pharmacist will also provide services that maximize the hospital’s ability to meet national indicators. Other responsibilities include: providing educational in-services, developing policies and/or processes to improve departmental operations and participation in at least one departmental or hospital committee, serve as student and/or resident preceptor.
Qualified candidates will have completed a PGY1 residency or equivalent with critical care experience. A PGY2 residency in Critical Care is preferred and Board Certification is encouraged.
