CLINICAL PHARMACIST, EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT
Progressive health system in Charlotte is seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Clinical Pharmacist. In this role you will perform a wide variety of duties to help meet the pharmaceutical needs of the organization and its patients focusing on management of emergency department patients. Provides medication-related information to physicians, staff, and community. Serves as a liaison to assigned patient care areas with responsibility for outcomes including patient satisfaction and quality measures. Mentors and educates pharmacy staff, residents, and students in area(s) of specialty. Coordinates delivery of pharmaceutical care within the assigned specialty by serving as the subject matter expert for order sets, patient care protocols, policy development / revision, and multidisciplinary rounds.
