Multi-campus Teaching hospital located in Massachusetts. New position within this multi-site facility. Reporting to a Corporate Director of Pharmacy, this individual will basically function as a Director of Pharmacy with complete 100% administrative responsibilities including Policy and Procedures, budget input, Planning, QA Projects, and JCAHO compliance. All within a highly sophisticated and automated state of the art pharmacy ranked in the top 2% of the country in pharmacy systems automation.


The ideal candidate will have knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts acquired through the completion of a Master’s Degree in Hospital Pharmacy or a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree (Pharm D). Completion of an ASHP accredited management residency preferred. Previous experience in a like hospital pharmacy supervisory/management capacity to include experience with automated dispensing technology for a minimum of one year. Must be an energetic leader who embraces change. Must have demonstrated the ability to work independently with minimum direct supervision with the ability to set priorities and make critical decisions. Effective oral and written communication skills, as well as demonstrated management, interpersonal, and team skills are essential.
